There’s just something about fresh workout gear that gets me in the mood to move my body, and I know I’m not alone here. As y’all know, movement is an incredibly important part of my day. Whether it’s a run on the trail here in Austin, taking a pilates class, or teaching Yoga Sculpt, I want to feel comfortable and confident while I get my sweat on.
On the blog, I’ve previously shared a round-up of Fitness Favorites: Activewear I’m Loving, and I thought it’d be fun to begin to highlight some of the brands I wear and enjoy most in more detail.
I’ve been a longtime fan of adidas gear for running and working out, so their recent launch of the Formotion Collection came at the perfect time to kick off this new blog series! These pieces were created by women specifically for women’s bodies, as they adapt and compress as you move for superior support.
First are the Formotion Sculpt Tights in Black, shown here. They have a compression fit and are super high-waisted, so they hold everything in place and make me feel super supported and strong. I’m always looking for a good pair of black leggings, and these are my new running go-to for sure.
The Formotion Sculpt Tights in Hazy Beige are another favorite and a fun way to mix things up when you still want a neutral look. I love a matching set when I take or teach Yoga Sculpt classes, so this top and leggings combo was made for me. The waistband is super secure (aka no hiking-up required), which is a must for me in leggings.
To complete the set, I threw on the Cropped Training Tee in Hazy Beige. It forms to your body as you move and is incredibly supportive and flattering. I’ll definitely need this in the black next!
Lastly, the Studio Two-Tone Bra is a new must for all of your activities. I’m always looking for a bra that’s both supportive and comfortable, and this feels incredible on your body. It also comes in a super fun True Orange / Screaming Pink as well that is on my wish list.
